Filming test scenes from "Night is Day - The Movie"!

This weekend saw some filming take place for "Night is Day - The Movie" around Glasgow. As we're trying to put together some promotional material (teaser trailers, some scenes, posters etc) to help raise awareness and funds to help us, we thought filming some actual scenes from the movie might help us.

On the Saturday we went to the Citizen Theatre and filmed three scenes involving DCI Iain Mullan (Steven McEwan), Inspector Rebecca Munro (Clare Sheppard) and PC Douglas (Kenny Boyle). Filming went smoothly and we managed to film some behind the scenes footage too. Yes it was raining, yes it was windy, but it was still fun!

On Sunday we started in the Glasgow Harbour at the waterfront with main female lead, Lena Dwyre (Kirsty Anderson) and her best friend Sara (Vharri Lavery), followed by an intense scene with Lena and Jason (Chris Summers) and finally we went to a dodgy looking alleyway in Kinning Park and filmed a scene between a young girl (Ilaria Nardini), a rough attacker (Kevin William McIntyre) and Jason!

(Never annoy a Glasgow superhero!)

Our race night is Friday the 23rd of April at 8pm at Glasgow University's Queen Margaret Union in the Food Court. It's free to come along and we're bringing along some cast and crew for you all to meet, so it's a chance to meet them and win some money!

Thankfully we were only troubled once by 4 small children (aged 14 apparently) with toy guns who constantly asked if they were going to be on TV...ah, Glasgow.

Roll on the Summer when we start filming properly!
