One Year Later - Casting Announcement!

ONE YEAR LATER - CASTING ANNOUNCEMENT

I am thrilled to announce that Scottish actor Mark Wood has joined our film, "One Year Later", in an undisclosed main role!

Mark is best known for his role of Fergus in the ITV comedy "Trinity" as well as appearing in the BBC sketch show "The Ginge, The Geordie and The Geek". Other credits include Sea of Souls and Taggart. Check out Mark's IMDb page here!

Mark joins the cast that includes April Pearson who is playing Katy and Simon Weir who is playing Doctor Evans. We are holding auditions on the 10th of March to round out the rest of our cast and we cannot wait.

The cameras will be rolling in Glasgow on the 27th and 28th of April with the intention of entering the film into as many festivals as possible.

We still have 58% of our crowd-funding to find so if you'd like to support our movie you can do so by http://www.bloomvc.com/project/One-Year-Later-A-Supernatural-Rom-Com# and claiming one or more of our excellent movie perks!

More news as it happens!

One Year Later: Hair and Makeup Meeting, The Casting Process Continues...

One Year Later - Hair and Makeup Meeting, casting continues...

Today I met with our hair and makeup artists, Sharon Clark and Claire Louise Dell, who worked with me on both the Bloodline pilot and Cameron Stone, our 48 hour film project in 2012. The film isn't overly complex when it comes to the makeup but we just had to lock down the look of the film, and decide how much blood we can get away with for a couple of the scenes. It's an enjoyable experience and I love that we can have these meetings in advance to go through it all, it will really add to the final product. Sharon and Claire are true professionals and I can't wait to work with them again in April.

(My notes on hair and makeup, how long it'll take each day etc)

Our producer Claire Mcguire has locked down auditions to help us find who will be playing David and Steven in the short film. We're auditioning on the 10th of March in Glasgow (1 week after my 29th birthday!) and I can't wait to get back to meeting new actors (and some familiar faces!) and hear them read the script. And then the agonising decision of who is best for the roles.

Sharon and Claire are also offering 10 hair and makeup Hollywood makeover sessions to help us fund the film. If you want to treat that special girl in your life then head over to http://www.bloomvc.com/project/One-Year-Later-A-Supernatural-Rom-Com and grab the perk before they all go!

If we don't hit 100% of our target by the 30th of March then we get NONE of the money promised to us. All of the money will go on paying our cast and crew, locations, catering, props, costumes etc, so if you can support us, even by donating a £1, will help us make our movie.

Each sponsor will receive a private link to the film online and we are offering opportunities to attend our cast and crew screening too.

Thank you.
